Lindy Mail

A full guide on how to give your Lindy a unique email address to have her receive and send emails from her own inbox.

Lindy Mail is an action that gives Lindy her own email address to send and receive emails from.

This is particularly useful when you want to CC Lindy to email threads, forward Lindy emails to take action, or have inbound emails sent to Lindy for her to respond to directly, without it hitting your inbox.

Adding a Lindy Mail Trigger

To have Lindy “wake up” on an email received to her unique Lindy Mail address, add the Lindy Mail Email Received trigger.

You can customize Lindy’s Lindy Mail address in the trigger action configuration.

If you want Lindy to observe (and respond) to follow-up emails in a thread, select the Observe follow-up emails option.

You can add Filters to your Lindy Mail trigger to include or exclude specific emails from triggering Lindy. Full guide here on using triggers with filters.

Adding a Lindy Mail Action

Once you have a Lindy Mail trigger, you can add a Lindy Mail Send Reply action. If you want responses sent from the same Lindy Mail address from the Lindy Mail trigger, make sure to update this Lindy Mail's address to the same one.

Customizing Lindy’s Email Response

Add a prompt to the Body field of the Lindy Mail Send Reply action to ensure she responds according to your instructions and preferences.

Test Your Lindy Mail

Copy the Lindy Mail address from your trigger and send Lindy an email.

Lindy will then reply to your test email with a response, as instructed by the prompt you set in the Body field.
